Render and Fascia / Soffit order question

Hi,

Am i correct thinking that if i intend to render my house which has both flat and pitched roof sections and replace my soffit/fascia boards on both areas i should do it in the following order

For flat roof

1. Fit new Fascia
2. Render

For pitched roof

1. Remove Fascia/Soffit
2. Render
3. Fit new Fascia/Soffit

or not?

For flat roof,, i'd fit the facia last to slightly overlap onto the render
For pitched roof, fit facia and soffit, then scratch/render to underside of soffit.
