Hi, my house is of concrete construction and the render is cracking and blown in places. Is there anything specific i should know before trying to patch render it. Cheers

Hi Mark
Unfortunately this a a common problem in "Airey" built houses.
The concrete expands & contracts at a different rate to the render and leads to cracks which fill with water/air and blow out.

I have been advised years ago that a flexible additive can be added to the render mix which can help but not 100% fix the issue.
Good luck mate hope it all works out for you.
Pete
