I am repairing a septic tank, which was block built in the 60s. I have emptied it and scraped the walls to remove all loose material and filled all holes and intend to pressure wash next.
I was intending to tank it with a bonding slurry with SBR and a render also containing SBR, followed by a tanking slurry on the dry render. The bottom two feet appear to have a sound coat of bitumen. Must this be removed or can it be overcoated with render as above?
