Rendering of external bay gone wrong - photo now sorry

Hello,

The render on my bay was cracking so it has been taken back to the frame and re-rendered. The result doesn't look very flat (see photo). Unfortunately this was not noticable until the paint went on. The builder has agreed to resolve it but I am concerned whether added layers over the masonary paint will now hold in the winter. Does anyone have enough experience to advise me on what I should be seeking to resolve the problem ie - does it need taking off and starting again? Thanks in advance for your help and advice

To be honest, I'd take it all off and start again from scratch. It looks a mess as it is, and to re-render over it again would not be a sensible thing to do.
