Rendering over Toplite Aeriated blocks

I am planning a garden workshop, bullt half single skin and half cavity. I'm looking to use Toplite standard blocks for both the inside and outside walls, but I have seen some adverse commects about rendering the outside over the toplite blocks, which i plan to do. has anyone any experience?
