HI. FIRST TIME ON AND I WONDER IF ANYONE CAN HELP. RENDERING DIFFERENT TYPES OF BLOCK IN THE SAME WALL. I'M THINKING OF BUILDING SOME OF THE OUTSIDE CAVITY WALL WITH DIFFERENT BLOCKS..ie HIGH DENSITY, MEDIUM AND EVEN THOSE LIGHTWEIGHT ONES AS I HAVE THEM BUT NOT ENOUGH OF ONE TYPE TO DO THE WHOLE WALL. IS THERE A PROBLEM WHEN IT COMES TO THE RENDERING? THANKS. REGARDS, JOHN

yes, differing suction means a nightmare for the poor soul who has to render.

high or medium density do work better for rendering.

i would suggest using the heaviest blocks at the bottom. ;)

If you use a 4:1 scrath coat with a waterproofer, and leave it for a few days before floating, the suction should be even.
