Hi Guys
I will be rendering my new build soon. It is a single 100mm skin dense block garage, so will need some sort of waterproofer in the render to prevent water penetration.
With that said, I am in need of a bit of guidance on how to proceed, since there are so many ways suggested, and thus I'm not sure which to follow.
I have some questions below which I would appreciate if someone could answer.
1. What ratios should I use for the render?
2. How many coats do I need?
3. Should I render both the exterior and interior walls with SBR?
4. Should SBR be used in all coats?
5. I'm using this SBR (http://www.screwfix.com/p/cementone-sbr-admixture-white-5ltr/91566#) - does anyone know if it is also a plasticier on must I use a separate product for that?
6. It's going to be pretty warm this week, should I hold off rendering?
7. How do I go about rendering below DPC? I guess it should be "breathable" so that vapour can escape?
Sorry about all the questions.
