REPACING AND ADDING ADDITIONAL CONSUMER UNIT

I want to replace an old consumer unit on the first floor and also add a spure consumer unit on the second floor and a spur meter for reading units used on this floor.
Questions first floor unit
1/ from the meter in to the consumer unit do I use a RCD or DP
2/ from the consumer unit out to the spur meter do I go via an MCB or an other further RDC or DP.
Question first floor
1/ from the spur meter to the spur consumer unit do I use a RCD or DP
2/ Do i need a switch fuse before the spur meter
3/ what size of wire should be use from unit to unit

Each unit will supply 6 lights 12 power points 1 cooker point

DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF.

I don't think you have enough knowledge to tackle a job like this, and you will almost certainly lack the correct meters.

Phone an electrician.
