Hi guys, I’m looking for a bit of advice on something I know very little about; painting an old garden boundary wall, 1950ish poured/cast concrete ‘coping’.
I had the ( brick) wall itself re-dashed last year, and as an ‘extra’ the builders offered to paint the top as they worked……
Unfortunately it started raining while they were painting, they continued etc etc - end result is a mess this year.
weather is dry and overcast for the rest of the week, so it’s time for me to just get this done.
What’s the correct procedure here ?
Wire brush, SBR, 2 coats of Sandtex ( or whatever you guys recommend) ?

Coverstain is what id use but don't let it get wet.
Cover if you have to.
Needs 4 days to cure keeping dry.
Then masonry paint.

Other option is bradite one can. I've never used but its said to be good

Hi Wayners, and thanks for the reply.
I googled that Coverstain, but the one I was looking at says touch dry in 30mins, and paintable after 2 hours ? Is this the right stuff ?
