I'm re-decorating the hallway. I've got a knackered external corner which I'm unsure of the best way to deal with.

I'm considering filling with decorators caulk or easifill.

What's the best option and why?

The hole above the skirting I'm planning to fill with newspaper and then easifill over the top

Conventional filler will sort that, no newspaper required [not sure what you would do with it]Dec caulk is unsuitable it's only for fine cracks/gaps and is flexible not firm.
