When I lifted a manhole cover, I saw my drain at the bottom cracked all the way across. I first thought, dig it all out and bung in a round plastic job (NIGHTMARE).
But now I'm thinking surely I can grind out the crack n fibreglass it or use neat cement or Jetcem, but I have no idea whether this will last, what do you experts think?

Cannot see why jetcem will not fix it. I used to powergrout drains that had cracked and plastic line the ones that had collapsed.

Just a little tip, you will need a drain plug and a length of chain for this repair. Tie the chain to the plug so you can safely pull the plug free when you release the back log - excuse the pun

Thanks, luckily the sewer only serves my house, is Jetcem the best option?
Changing the subject, what's your tipple of choice? for me it has to be Old Peculiar.

Yep definitely Jetcem, sets in around fifteen minutes, smooth finish and will cure underwater.

And it's a guiness if you're ever down Greenwich way :)
