repairing chip/bent in wooden worktop.

Hey has any one got any advice on repairing a small chip/dent in a wooden kitchen work top. its about 2/3mm deep and about 6/7mm in diameter. Thanks for any help.

try a damp cloth and a hot steam iron for about 30 seconds

you may get cloudy sheen for a while

you have compressed the grain steaming loosens up the grain allowing it to bounce back a bit :D
