Not sure how to repair this so asking for advice - the hard render on the outside of my Dad's 1920's timber framed bungalow has failed in the corner. The internal walls are lath and lime. Would it be okay to use a 3 sharp sand to 1 NHL 5 for repairing this corner. Should I be replacing the damaged brick? Some furry creatures are darting to and fro from this hole so am keen to make good.

Yes you can do as you propose, but it may be wise to remove more render to investigate for any damage to the frame.

The brick should be OK, it's hard to tell.
