Hello
We are currently renovating a Victorian terrace. The party wall has got a crack in it which has been classified a historic by a SE during the purchase process. The wooden beam in front of the crack can easily be removed as it is just part of a stud wall of the bathroom.
What would be a good way of repairing the crack? Would it be possible to fill the crack with mortar considering it is historic and is unlikely to develop further?
Many thanks
Alex
