Repairing cracked plasterboard before painting

Can anybody tell me how to repair cracked plasterboard seams on a ceiling before painting

i would spray some water along the crack and then use a scraper to feed in some decoraters caulk or a very fine filler.

sand and paint.

 

It might also be worth checking that it's not the tape/s coming loose from the seams on your ceiling.If they are,it's better to take off any loose ones,and get new tapes put back on.
