I am in the early stages of decorating my bathroom and during the process of removing tiles i have damaged the plasterboard under it (put holes in it). Could some one please advise on how to repair this, my initial thought would be to put a hole in some ply wood feed a piece of string through it and place it on the other side of the hole allowing me to then plaster plaster over? Is there perhaps a better / correct way of completing this repair?

Many thanks in advance.

pretty much right cover the overlap with no nails and fill when its set [in about 2 days to be shure] ;)

self adhesive mesh tape over holes then whack some bonding over it. you can then skim or tile over!!
