Hi Im
Maintaining fence.

One fence post is being replaced the others have some rot but are solid(long story but don’t want to replace all)

For the ones which are solid but rotting , would the following work.

1) put to Ron seal hardner
2)fill with Ron seal professional wood filler???
3) paint with isoflex.
4) add a bit extra post Crete.

Wood will need to be dry to fill and if it gets wet the filler will blow off

Some of the posts (3 of 20) have started to rot about 5 years ago in a fence I put up 24 years ago.

I have just been filling the rot hole up with old engine oil twice a year, seems to have stopped the rot - it is amazing how the oil capillaries itsef up the post
