Hi,

Was reading the previous entries about wet v dry verges as my Marley Grey Modern wet verges are starting to crumble.

Was looking for the batten extender kits, code 35800, that it was mentioned Marley did, though could not find anyone on the web stocking them - are they actually around ?

What I did also see on Marleys web site was some Cloak Verge Tiles for Moderns code 370 ( plastic or concrete ?)
Seem this is a third possible way to repair the verges but again cannot find anything more about them and if they are a practical diy retrofit solution or new build only ?

thanks

Have a look at the manthorpe web site they have some more options.

Hi,

Had already looked at Manthopre, assume you mean running a battern lengthwise from the eaves to the ridge.

Problem there is that the undercloak cement board and tile extend out by 54 mm from the floating rafter so little to fix to, hence looking to extend the tile battens.
