Hi there
I have a small water leak in a window of my flat which is due to be rented out this weekend, it appears to be seeping in thru the putty. The putty is quite thinly applied and i guess over time has worn. Can I repair this? Am wondering whether I need to remove the old putty in the leaky section or if there's something I can just apply over the top? Have seen some acrylic putty in wickes- is this any good? It doesn't have to be perfect, just fix the leak with minimum work and cost and ideally before Friday,
I haven't been able to check the condition of the exterior putty yet by the way, but am guessing this will need attention too.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
