Replace 1 x Double Switch with 1 x Single Switch for both..

just to confirm, before i do it in the morning:

both red wires into squiggle
both black wires (with red sleeve) into L1

is that correct?

tried it, but no luck

put both red into squiggle and both black (with red bits) into L1 - both lights just stayed on, flicking the switch made no difference.

then tried both switch wires into L1 and 1 live into squiggle - one light stayed on, the other was contolled by the switch..

try putting the red from one cable with the black from the other into each of com and L1.
