Replace a few slates / point chimney and ridge tiles

Hi,

I have an average semi with slate roof and brick chimney

There a few (5-10) slates loose and the chinmey pots mortar is cracked

Can anyone give me a ball park figure on how much it would cost to repair?

Materials should not account for more than say £50 and pay a couple of blokes a days pay.

Expect prices to start around £300 - £350.

Then again a specialist pro' outfit with a cherry picker may charge double.

Or you may live somewhere 'awkward'.
