i have a comfort height cistern on a couple of toilets
may not be this make specifcally - however it looks the same as this

the pneumatic push is proving difficult for my other half pushing fully in to flush

we had a cable verison in an old house which was much easier

can the flush valve - which is quick release be changed to a cable version

I have fitted a lever cistern in our 3rd toilet and i have also spent time modifying one of these comfort systems to raise the toilet and modify the cabinet

so if i have to replace the cistern maybe thats the way to go

of course I have a faceplate, and i suspect the "button" will be a different size , which i suspect a replacement front panel from monroe in the same finish will cost £100

Depends on the flush valve installed. Yes, you’ll need to change the face plate

thanks for the reply, I was hoping someone here may know what will replace the flush valve - theres a few on screwfix - I didnt really want to take it all apart and then look for something - cant find a decent spec online for dimensions, except for the flush pipe into the cistern which is 50mm

looks like i will have to remove and then see what i can find and compare , unfortunatly
