but if i remember you said when heating calling only your valve wasn't moving to the H position from W which would mean the motor is faulty

so not activating the m/switch and giving you 230v on the orange.

Matt1e - thanks for the diagram of the altered wiring. It'll save me a lot of stress figuring it out.

Seco, If the motor has stopped is it still just a csae of replacing the Drayton MA1 unit, or are you refereing to a different motor (pump perhaps)?
