Hi. I want to replace the hinges on an upstairs window. It's a top opener casement window, so the hinges are attached at the top of either side.

I don't have access to the outside. How difficult will it be to replace the hinges from the inside? Is it even possible? I think I will look for a window fitter rather than do it myself. I just wondered how they'd do it.

Thanks in advance.

depends on the size , if we were doing it , we would have one person unscrew the hinges from the frame , whilst another held the sash ( smaller sashes you can do with one person. We'd always take top screw out first , so that the window doesnt need to be fully open when taking the weight...........
