Replace LVT in bathroom

I’ve got LVT flooring in my bathroom that I’d like to replace, but both the toilet and the vanity were installed on top of it. How difficult would it be to take out and replace the flooring in this situation?

Toilets only have a few fixings. Likewise vanities. Prob easier to lift them, tuck new floor under and refit

Would I need more than just a floor fitter for this? Possibly a bathroom fitter?

OP,
Bathroom fitters could do the job of lifting everything, & later replacing it after laying the floor.

But any competent floor layer could cut in around any fixtures - so could you:
Making a paper template scribed in around the fixtures, skirting and threshold would work.

I had previously approached a floor fitter and they had suggested laying on top on the existing LVT, which I really don’t want to do. The fitter seemed competent to lay another floor I’ve had done but didn’t seem too keen to do this one

OP,
Good for you - dont lay the new stuff on top of the old. Strip the floor so that any damage, leaks etc can be exposed, & a flat, smooth surface provided for laying.
What do you propose to lay - I was assuming more LVT or sheet vinyl but if its ceramic tile then come back here?
If you have doubts about the floor layer then dont use them.

Have vinyl flooring over LVT but on a concrete floor, if yours is over timber ? then removal should be easier , heat gun over the existing allows the floor to be peeled up .

I plan to replace it with new LVT. I think I’ll seek another floor fitter competent for the job as maybe the fitter I previously had was just a little work shy. Thanks
