I’m re-routing my mains input and stop cock soon and want to know should I renew the existing fitting that’s connecting the MDPE to the copper pipe or replace that as well? It’s not leaking and is about 30 years old. Not sure it’s worth it, and I should just cut the copper pipe and solder in a coupler instead?
