Replace on/off Aqualisa Shower Quartz Lever

Hi all
The on/off lever broke on my shower. I have no idea how to take off the old one. Can anyone help please? I did expect to be able to unscrew the old broken one through the hole in the centre but there is no screw that I can see.

Have a look at showerdoc.com under aqualisa, mixer showers, quartz thermostatic. There is a diagram which suggest it just pulls off. Pricey replacement!

it is screwed in. I can't see how though.

Update. You are totally correct. After your reply I tried pulling off the broken piece again and in I worked it free. There was no screw.
