Replace or Repair

Hi,

Moved into a property with a Intellisense securit 800L. The keypads have been opened up so that the soft key keypad has separated from the keypad housing, exposing the circuit board.

The pir's all seem to be working, on account of the fact that the little red light illuminates when I walk into a room.

The bell box works having powered off the unit from the main board and then re-powering.

so my quandary is, since I don't know any of the codes, and the control box is quite old, should I simply have the control box replaced, keeping the wired pir's, and door contacts etc, so I could take advantage of some of the newer control panels ability to send sms alerts etc.

or

should I have the look to having the keypads replaced.

If I were to have the control panel replaced...

any recommendations?

You can't get the keypads ( odd one comes up on eBay) replace with premier 24 if you want text message or euro mini for basic use
