ADT how do i reset system ?

I have just replaced a tempremental pir with another. The control panel says " call manager, rest required" The Box is an Ademco microtech Galaxy 18 and the control keypad is a Honeywell galaxy.
It's not connected to a telephone and is just a bell alarm.
It works fine but the odd false alarm from that pir was bothering me.
Can anyone tell me how to reset as it says?

Is the manager code the normal alarm code? If so nothing happens, just the four asterisks, if press ent, it lists a couple of alarm alerts when I was changing the pair over but won't let me reset it as normal???
 
The manager code is the highest customer level code.
This will allow you to add additional customer codes,change time and date,omit zones.
If you can not do any of the above then you do not have a manager code.
If you can not get the manager code your control panel will need its codes factory defaulting

Thanks, looks like I need someone to call out and do it for me as I can't get in touch with the installer for the manager code as he has retired. Thanks for all the advice.
