Replace Randall 102 with 103E5

Can I replace my Randall 102 c.heating control with the electronic 103E5?
(System is Hot water plus heating or Hot water no heating)

most controlers have a "standard" back plate so i should say yes (but check wiring configuration of new V old)

no, you can't the backplate is indeed the same but a 102 is a programmer and a 103 is a timer. you can use a 102 E5/7 however.
