replace tap with reviver kit

I am trying to fit a ½” tap reviver kit to an old kitchen mixer tap. The reviver kit is too small to fit the mixer tap base. I have tried a ¾” convertor but it is too large. I believe the mixer conforms to BS 1010 and requires a 5/8” adaptor. I cannot find a suitable adaptor. Any suggestions anyone?
