Tap Reviver kits? and Swirl Taps?

Any comments on tap reviver kits?

The cold tap on my bath/shower tap has packed up and i might be after a cheap and dirty fix. Obviously you need the right thread type, but beyond that should and taps fit any body?

Also comments on 'Swirl' branded taps and mixers?

Tap revivers are generally designed to fit into BS1010 or BS5412 tap bodies by way of adaptors provided in the set.
If, for some reason, yours have A N Other thread, then they will not fit.

Ok,
The tap in question is a cheap one, fitted to a bathroom that was refitted maybe 5 years ago, is that likely to be BS1010 or BS5412?
