replace the old hotplate in my electric cooker

I have got a new hotplate to replace the old hotplate in my electric cooker but don't know what the order of the wire should be.
Can you help? (How can I send you a photograph for that)

Well you haven't shown us the bottom of the old hotplate, but presumably there's four terminals, so just copy them as per the photo of the old one when you've got it in place

I made a mistake.....actually, I have not got the new hotplate yet, I have ordered it a few days ago from Ebay and they did not show the bottom of the hotplate in their webpage.
I will send the picture of the bottom of the new hotplate when I receive it.

OK, they have just sent me the new hotplate. The new hotplate marked 1,2,4 and 3 (why not 1,2,3 and 4?) but I cannot see the numbers for the old hotplate at the moment.
Please tell me in what order to wire it up.

If those two retaining rods line up with the holes, then you really can't go wrong.

Brown / Light brown / Black / Blue and then the green and yellow on the centre pin

There are a few possibilities.

Hopefully, the old one is marked in a similar fashion to the new one, but from what is visible of the old one, they look identical.
