hi there - i just replaced, like for like, a honeywell v4073a mid-position valve. the old motor valve was broken and i could only get heating if i cranked in open and then jammed it so it stayed open.

anyway, motor valve has been completely replaced and wired in. now, even when the hot water and heating is switched to the off position on the programmer and thermostat, the system is still calling for least CH (and i think DHW). regardless of whether it's switched on or off at the programmer and regardless of whether the room thermostat is set to min or max.

would i be right in thinking the grey hot water off wire isn't wired in correctly?

thanks
