Hi all.

More poor old Suprima has been condemned... time for a replacement :(

I have two options:

1) I once bought a spare second hand for parts, same model, which was good as new and has been in the loft. This could be used to directly replace the existing. Just needs to be reassembled and inspected. Is this legal under current regulations, and would there be any obvious issues with that?

2) If I was to go down the route of a brand new boiler, what's a good place to start looking as a good fit for the replacement? 1st floor, 2 bed flat. I don't want a combi, I like a full tank and my power shower :)

Thanks for any advice.

It's in a state! An old leak had caused rusting and it's simply time to move on.

Any suggestions?

the case has corroded then?

sadly you will likely have a hard time finding anyone to hang your spare boiler on the wall and commission/test it. it may be time for a new boiler if you don't already know any willing persons.
