Well the timing dial on my Switchmaster 600 has finally given up so I am looking to replace the unit. I would prefer a digital display but I am unsure as to what might be suitable as a direct replacement? I had been looking at the Siemens RWB29 but would that be appropriate? The Switchmaster is situated upstairs in the airing cupboard next to the hot water tank and hooked up to a single valve if that helps.

Thanks

Well just in case anyone else ends up needing to replace a Switchmaster 600 I can confirm that the RWB29 works just fine as a replacement (this was in a gravity hot water, pumped central heating system). It even comes with a helpful wiring interchange guide to show how to wire up the backplate when replacing an older programmer (including the Switchmaster 600).
