Replacement headlamp question

Hi, I have recently bought a second hand headlamp for a Fiat Cinquecento (rusty reflector) - it's slightly different to the one I'm replacing and I need to take it apart and reseal it. Has anyone any tips of how to take the glass away from the plastic casing? It's sealed solid.

Normally you would use a hairdryer to heat up the glue and gradually prize it open. Given the size of it though you might be best off putting it in an over set to about 60C for an hour or so first just to get it started.

Consider getting another light unit as it may be more trouble than its worth.
If you do get it apart ensure its fully sealed again or it will condensate.
