Hi,
I have large decorative doors in a bedroom that are quite heavy. They seem to have been installed with inadequate hinges since they are now falling down! I would be very grateful for any advice on how to replace these myself.
The hinges fold completely back on themselves. It appears a regular concealed hinge would be suitable, but the problem is that there is limited space to accommodate the mounting plate of the hinge (which is perhaps why they were never installed properly...).
Here are the hinges as they appear now (one of the few that has not broken apart!):
Any suggestions?
Kind regards.
