Replacement part or new dryer ?

Hi,
Whilst working and tumble dryer on now & then I can hear a scraping noise.

I’ve pulled the dryer out & removed a cover.

The part in the photo of which is some kind of rear drum support I assume moves up & down when I manually lift the drum up & down.

I think this should be solid so can I buy this part or get another dryer ?

If the part can be purchased please advise it’s name.
I also seen a small pile of black dust which I assume is where the drum has dropped & rubbing on something.
