I'm trying to replace some old wooden casement windows as part of a bathroom refurbishment. The old windows are rotten and need to be replaced.
I've measured & phtographed the windows (follow the link below):

Somebody told me that these windows (which are about 30 years old) are built to an obsolete standard, and that they fit almost perfectly with a size which was common back then:
The small window is 1 3/4 ft w by 3.5 ft high
The large window is 4 ft w by 3.5 ft high
My question - is it possible to get pre-fabricated windows made to these old standards or will I have to pay extra (and wait longer) for made to measure windows? Wickes only seem to do windows to a range of metric sizes, none of which fall close to these pre-metric standards.
If I'm forced to buy made to measure what I really want is a local (North London) factory that can make some basic windows very quickly.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
