I am replacing a room thermostat and associated wiring back to the wiring center, ( old cable damaged)
the cable will be routed in mini trunking to the wiring centre in the airing cupboard.
the hot water cylinder is in the airing cupboard, along with zone valves. boiler is located in the loft.
there seems to be discussion as to whether the cable needs to be heat resisitant.
System is 3A max.

will normal 6243 yh (3+e) (1sq mm)pvc cable to BS6004 be ok ? if heat resistant to 85degrees is required, where is it documented?
thanks
