Replacing 30 year old electric storage heater

Hi All
I want to replace 30 year old 2.5 kw storage heater in my sons flat
Ideally not to replace it with another storage heater but totally confused by all the different options available
Can anyone recommend a type, ceramic, infrared etc and make?

What supply is at the SH. Is it an off -peak supply ?

The good news is that, unlike in buildings, asbestos in storage heaters was phased out by the mid 70s.

So you can dismantle your son's old heater without worry.

But putting non-storage heaters on an off-peak supply doesn't make sense.
