My Candy go282 washing machine no longer functions correctly - when selecting a wash, spin speed or other option (eg Fast Wash, Allergy Care etc) the machine doesn't cooperate - the LED for the selection will light briefly but will then immediately revert back to the original setting. I can however get the desired option to stay lit by pressing it and then immediately pressing 'Start'. Also the machine will not heat the water to the desired setting, ie the water may be really hot or just cold when I select a 40 degree wash. It seems to be ok on some programs and not work at all on other selections.
Do you think this is a control board issue? Is fixing this in the realms of a competent DIYer?
