We have a candy washing machine that was mid cycle when the electric went out. Upon the return of the electricity the washing machine refused to start again. It turned out the pcb board had burnt out. We sent for a new one and replaced this today. The washing machine now starts but and the water fills up but now the drum will not spin! Does anyone know why this is??

a bit cryptic :D
electric went out ??power cut or or fuse/mcb in the house
i suspect your circuit board was damaged by what ever component has failed in the machine

drum will not spin??? do you mean no movement/agitation/rotation or emptying fast spin

Hi there

The elctricity in the house went out and when it came back on it wouldn't start it was just stuck on door lock flashing and wouldn't start again. We found out the pcb board had burnt out and got the replacment yesterday which has now been replaced.
However now the machine will start and starts the cycle as the water fills the machine but it now won't spin when in cycle?
