Hi all
I have managed to crack a tile at the edge of the kitchen (its only a half tile.) I have also noticed that it, along with its neighbour have lifted slightly.
I would like to replace the cracked one- but I have no spare tiles
how possible is it that I can lift a tile up from under the washing machine and use that to replace the cracked tile.

Thanks in advance

Replacing a cracked tile first removing an unwanted fixture from a tiled surface. Breakup the tile with a hammer by using cold chisel remove the broken tile. Take a stiff putty knife scrape the old adhesive, and become relatively smooth, then level the surface for the new tile. Use tile adhesive and apply the complete back of the new tile, and also apply some adhesive in the broken tile place, and fix the new tile in the gap. Press the tile firmly all the corners for the level of surrounding tiles.
