Need more info,do you mean fire surrounding or insert type etc...........
If it a surrounding,they are pretty straight forward with mounting brackets into the wall,should come with the instruction and if it the insert type then it a difference ball game as it require fire & safety regulation which you can't do,only the specialise company.
Thanks for replying so quickly, I have an old tile fireplace at the moment with concrete backing. The new one to replace it is a metal fireplace with tiles running down the sides with a slate hearth and wodden surround. I also need to replace the fire brick which i believe is a 16" single unit.....
