Hi Drec, did you proceed with replacing the Potterton Kingfisher 2 ? How did it go.
We have a Kingfisher 2RS 80 - that is a balanced flue out of the wall. It was installed new in 1997. I am also thinking of having our replaced. The flue and condensate drain are no problem. My consideration is the 13m (equivalent including elbows) of 22mm gas pipe - which modern boiler would fall within this spec.

Here is a photo of the Kingfisher 2. Suggestions for replacement welcome.
Currently a 2 pump system which would be converted to single pump with two valves S plan system. Flow pipe in the middle with F/E pipes, return on the right. Two pipes on the left - one is the gas pipe.
The other pipe on the left appears to be another return which is weird - never noticed before. Maybe something to do with the bathroom radiators which are gravity fed.

Why? If it is still working ok then I'd leave it there, just ensure it gets Serviced every year by someone who understands these boilers. Any replacement may never pay for itself in gas savings.
