Hi all,
I wish to replace a type 21 of a type 22, as the bedroom gets very cold in the winter due to the house being very old with insulation as the back wall being made from stone. Don't want a designer rad just bog standard. The existing rad is 800 x 600. The room diamensions are
Room
L 342 cm
W 275 cm
H 256 cm

BTU seems to depend on which site you use to work it out.
B&q btu 2600
only radiators 2959 to 3519
Screwfix 3826
great rads 2673 - 4276

So should I go for 4276?

Then which manufacturer to go for?
Checked out Screwfix, they sell a Kudox rad for less than £50

But I read on this forum that Kudox rads have a bad name. I know everyone has a favourite manufacturer. But generally who would you recommend?
Thanks

No problem with Kudox, go for the larger size and fit a TRV if you don't have one.

Toolstation have an offer on on rads at the moment- some of them you get the (contract TRV) valve set thrown in for free
