I'm trying to replace my old honeywell (t636) thermostat with a Sunvic TLX 7501 digital thermostat.

The current wiring has a brown going into 1, a black going into 2, and a brown going into 3. It is also earthed. Am I able to just use the same wiring? Is this an industry standard? or do I need to change it?

This is a copy of the wiring diagram from the sunvic:

Many Thanks

Is it a T6360 you're replacing? This has a neutral, your new one doesn't, so you can't connect the black wire. Connect what was in 1 on the old stat to 3 on the new one. What was in 3 connect to 2.
