Replacing a toilet and floor

The rubber fins/seal that go into the soil pipe , would you use silicon on it all?
Same question for the cistern outlet into the toilet , again with the rubber fins/seal going into the back of the toilet would you silicon that at all

No, nothing at all. Perhaps a little lubrication, some used to come with the better manufacturers, but you shouldn't need anything.

I did need to put a little washing up liquid on both , when i first fitted as very tight, Out now, so will do the same when put back for final time

Thanks to all for the support and suggestions
All finished and enclosed now, should have taken a photo -
I tried the DC1 fitting with a 90 part, BUT could not get the height I needed and seal. Cut down the 90 and siliconed into the DC1 , but not happy with that type of arrangement

In the end I just purchased and cut down, the type in the first image on my post

Sealed perfectly and with a little soap , pushed into the Waste Pipe.
